Research Abstract

(1)強毒/弱毒SHIV感染初期に見られる胸腺内の未成熟なT細胞の分化増殖能の差異が、その後の病態進行を反映することが示唆された。(2)SHIVの病原性に影響を及ぼすウイルスゲノム上の変異がウイルス産生能と感染力の2つの素過程として同定された。(3)強毒/弱毒SHIVは感染初期において全身への拡散速度とCD4+細胞傷害作用が大きく異なり、この差異が病態進行に関与する事が示唆された。
