| Research Abstract |
土や岩の代表的なセメント物質の1つである炭酸カルシウムを主成分とし, 自然の土の中に生息する微生物の代謝活動を利用した環境に優しく新しい遺構, 遺物, 石造文化財などの保存材料(強化材料, 接着剤, 補填材料など)を作製した。また, 作製した保存材料を使用した土の力学・水理学特性およびその使用前後における微生物の菌数と帰属分類群について調査し, 新たに作製した保存材料の有効性について評価を実施した。その結果, 保存材料として有効であるとの見通しが大略得られた。
