Research Abstract

南インド農村部における前回の調査から四半世紀を経過した今回の再調査の実施は、経済開放政策後のインド農村の変容の実態を世帯レベルの調査から解明すると共に、そこでの変化の意味を、19世紀後半から作成された数百村の土地台帳の分析によって、長期の広域の変化のなかに位置づけた。
