Research Abstract

近代東アジアにおいて異文化はいかに受容され、各文化圏の相互影響のもといかなる近代的諸概念や訳語を生み出していったのか。こうした問題意識に立脚して、まずは、近代日本における訳語の成立、近代的諸概念の成立に焦点をあて、調査、考察を試みた。近代日本の翻訳文学を戦前と戦後の連続と非連続の相においてとらえることによって、あるいは、日中、日韓の文化交流の諸相を具体的に辿ることによって、こうした視座の有効性が確認できた。
