Research Abstract

物質の新存在形態であるペンタクォーク粒子Θ^+の発見は、ハドロン物理学における近年の最も重要な成果の1つである。本研究ではΘ^+と核子との相互作用を調べるために原子核を標的とする光核反応を用いて、Θ^+が核に束縛する状態の探索を行った。実験はSPring-8のレーザー電子光施設で行い、大立体角の3次元飛跡検出器とガス液化クライオスタットを新たに導入して、ヘリウム標的に対してビーム光子数4.6×10^<12>個のデータを取得した。
