Research Abstract

サンドリッジの形成と発達は、(1) ストームによる堆積作用の中断が繰り返されること、(2) サンドリッジ堆積物にはストームで形成される粗粒デューン堆積物とfluid mud 堆積物が発達すること、(3) サンドリッジ堆積物は必ずしも上方粗粒化のみで特徴付けられないこと、(4) サンドリッジ頂部の侵食によってマスターベディングの傾斜方向へ高流領域で移動した砂層がサンドシートを構成されることなどが明らかとなった。
