Research Abstract

本研究は, 新機能性材料であるゲル構造電気粘性流体(ERG)の性質を金型研磨加工に応用することを考え, これを用いた小型レンズ用金型のナノ研磨加工装置を開発することを目的として行われた. ERG研磨パッドを新たに開発し, これに静的および動的電場を付与することで, 金型材料を高能率・高精度に研磨することに成功した. さらに, 片側電極構造の研磨パッドを開発し, ガラスなどの非導電材料の研磨加工も可能であることを明らかにした.
