Research Abstract

本研究は, 廃棄物系バイオマスからバイオエネルギー(水素・メタン)の回収を行うためのプロセスの開発を目的とし, 高温(55℃)酸発酵槽と中温(36℃)メタン発酵槽からなる二相循環式水素・メタン発酵プロセスを提案し, 食品加工廃棄物(ジャガイモ)を処理対象とした連続実験を行った。異なるHRT条件での水素発酵特性とメタン発酵特性を明らかにし, PCR-DGGE法を用いた微生物群集構造解析により, 二相循環式水素・メタン発酵プロセスの微生物菌叢を把握した。また, 水素発酵の効率化を図るため、様々な基質の水素生成ポテンシャルを把握したとともに、膜分離型発酵における水素発酵特性を検討した。微生物群集構造解析からプロセスの高温酸発酵槽と廃液循環の有用性を検討した。さらに、余剰汚泥のメタン発酵を行い、効率化のためのプロセス構築および微生物解析を行った。
