Research Abstract

コンデンサ放電法により非晶質合金におけるパルス通電結晶化とパルス通電非晶質化を調べた. 非晶質合金中には容易結晶化構造領域が含まれており、パルス通電では格子振動の光学モードに相当する原子の集団運動励起によりそれが無拡散的に結晶化する. 液相には固相高温域の安定相に対応する容易結晶化構造領域を含むこと、対応組成に安定固相が存在しない系の非晶質合金には容易結晶化構造領域の体積割合が低く熱的安定性が高いことが示唆された. 結晶化後の非晶質化は集団運動の励起振幅が大きい場合に見られ、小励起振幅時に結晶化したナノ結晶は非晶質に戻り、新たに、大励起振幅での結晶化が起きることが示唆された. 関連研究として、ナノ結晶では結晶粒単位の集団運動の存在及び準安定非晶質相とも言える結晶粒界層の存在を明らかにした.
