Research Abstract

結晶方位を規定した単結晶を熱拡散接合した双結晶を用いて粒界静電ポテンシャル障壁の電気特性と粒界原子構造について調べた。粒界障壁は粒界に形成された粒界転位の密度と密接に関係することを明らかにし、単位長さ当たりの粒界転位が捕獲できる電子数を見積もった。さらに、SrTiO3結晶中における点欠陥の形成エネルギーを第一原理計算から求め、Srイオン空孔の形成エネルギーが最も低いことを見出した。
