Research Abstract

金属材料の機械的性質は、材料固有の強度に加えて、材料を構成する微視組織要素(粒界、析出物、第二相やそれらと母相との界面強度など)の特性に支配されている。したがって、材料を構成している微視組織要素の機械的性質を知ることが、材料の強化設計を考える上できわめて重要となる。本研究では、現実の材料組織からミクロンサイズの試験片を切り出し、その強度特性を計測する手法を開発し、TiAl合金とパーライト鋼についてマイクロスケールの材料試験を行い、マクロな機械的性質との関連を調べた。
