Research Abstract

半導体ナノ粒子を用いた無機エレクトロルミネッセンス材料を開発するためには,発光色および色鮮明度に反映するナノ粒子サイズおよび分布幅の制御が不可欠である.本研究課題ではこの点を詳細に検討した.その結果, Ge/Al-O薄膜において,Geナノ粒子の粒径サイズはAl-Oマトリクスの化学量論的組成付近において一峰性の分布を有し,他方,ナノ粒子およびマトリクスを構成する酸化物の生成熱差を大きくすることにより、ナノ粒子は狭分布化することが明らかになった.したがって,本研究課題により,半導体ナノ粒子の制御技術の確立に向けた知見が得られた.
