Research Abstract

時効硬化型マグネシウム合金の組織解析および時効硬化性に及ぼす合金元素添加の影響に関する研究を行った。さらに、優れた時効硬化性を示す合金について、熱間押出しにより棒材を作製し、その機械的特性を測定し展伸材としての可能性を調べた。Mg-Zn(-Zr)合金にAgとCaを微量かつ同時添加、Mg-Sn(-Al)合金にZnを微量添加することにより、析出物が微細化され時効硬化性が著しく向上することを発見した。その上、それらの合金の押出材を製造し室温引張特性を調べたところ、300MPaを超える0.2%耐力(降伏強度)を示すことがわかった。
