Research Abstract

将来型軽水炉として有望視されている低減速自然循環沸騰水型炉の概念の成立性を評価するために, 起動時に稠密炉心およびチムニーにおいて発生することが懸念されている熱水力学的諸問題(ガイセリング, 密度波振動, チムニー内における二次流れによる流動不安定性)に関して, 実験及び解析の両面より検討を行った.ガイセリングおよび密度波振動に関しては, 低減速自然循環沸騰水型炉の炉心を模擬した沸騰流路を用いて, 発生機構・安定限界を調べるととともに, RELAP5をベースに開発した解析コードを用いて抑止策の検討を行った.また, 起動時の低ボイド率条件下において発生することが懸念されているチムニー内の二次流れ現象に関しては, チムニー内流路を模擬した矩形流路を用いて, ボイドや液相の挙動を詳細に追跡することが可能なワイヤー・メッシュ・トモグラフィー(WMT)や超音波パルス・トモグラフィ法(UVT)を用いて, その発生機構を詳細に明らかにするとともに, 抑止策の検討を行った.以上より, 低減速自然循環沸騰水型炉の最適且つ合理的な起動手順および炉心構造の提案を行った
