Research Abstract |
本研究は、被子植物へと繋がる植物の系統での多様性創生に関わるもっとも重要なステップである多細胞化について着目し、その分子遺伝学的基盤を明らかにすることが目的である。そのため、単細胞生物であるミカヅキモと多細胞化したシャジクモにおいて、遺伝子の網羅的かつ系統的解析を行い、どのような制御機構や遺伝子ネットワークが多細胞化や初期の器官分化において重要な働きをしたかを明らかにする。 シャジクモの栄養成長時の細胞と有性生殖器官からそれぞれRNA を単離し, cDNA を合成した.両者のcDNA について均一化したライブラリーを作製してEST を取得した.約6000 個について配列決定を行い、プロファイリングを行なった。転写制御遺伝子であるLEAFY 遺伝子とKNOX遺伝子について行ない、シャジクモ藻類で初めて単離に成功した。 これらの遺伝子についてDNA 配列決定を行ない、陸上植物の相同遺伝子とともに系統解析を行なうとともに発現解析を行った。
