Research Abstract |
イネの遺伝子ターゲティング法を機能ゲノム学を推進する上で有効な技術として進展させることを目指して、ターゲット改変した内在遺伝子の機能をOFFから ONの状態に復帰させる、遺伝子スイッチのシステム化を、これまで遺伝子の破壊を行ってきたWaxyとアルコール脱水素酵素遺伝子(Alcohol dehydrogenase) Adh1とAdh2について行い、WaxyとAdh2についてはONの状態に復帰していることを分子レベルで確認した。また、ターゲティング法の高効率化を実現した。
