Research Abstract

アイスプラント(Mesembryanthemum crystallinum L.)の塩集積細胞であるブラッダー細胞の形成に関わる遺伝子として, トライコーム形成関連遺伝子及び機能未知遺伝子を単離した.液胞膜タンパク質を二次元電気泳動法で網羅的に解析し, NaCl の集積に関与するタンパク質を同定した.塩ストレスに伴うCAM 型光合成の誘導にグルタチオンが関与していることをCAM 型欠損突然変異体の解析から明らかにした.またCAM の鍵酵素であるホスホエノールピルビン酸カルボキシラーゼキナーゼ遺伝子のプロモーター領域を単離し, CAM の誘導に関与すると考えられるシス因子を推定した.
