Research Abstract

還元的TCA サイクルを機能させることにより、70℃で独立栄養的に生育する細菌Hydrogenobacter thermophilusを用い、同サイクル関連代謝系に関して、統合的な研究を行った。具体的成果として、フマル酸還元酵素の精製と特徴づけ、GS-GOGAT 系の酵素の精製と特徴づけ、アミノトランスフェラーゼに関しての包括的研究( 3種類の酵素の精製と特徴づけ) 、同化的硝酸還元酵素系についての包括的研究(硝酸還元酵素の精製と特徴づけ、さらに、異種発現株からの亜硝酸還元酵素の精製と特徴づけ) 、フェレドキシン : NADP 酸化還元酵素の異種発現による精製と特徴づけ、ヒドロゲナーゼの転写解析、脱窒関連酵素・遺伝子に関する研究、さらには全ゲノム配列の決定を行った。
