Research Abstract

疫病菌(Phytophthora属糸状菌)はジャガイモなどの重要農作物に感染し農業生産に被害をもたらす。この菌の興味深い特徴は、性ホルモン(α1、α2)を使って有性生殖をおこなう点だが、ホルモンの化学基盤は確立されていない。本課題では、α2の分離・精製・構造解析に成功するとともに、以前発見したα1の構造活性相関を明らかにした。
