Research Abstract |
神経成長因子(Nerve Growth Factor ; NGF)は神経細胞の分化を促進し、その生存を維持する作用のある一群のタンパク質である。NGF受容体TrkAの過剰発現細胞を樹立し、TrkAの脱リン酸化に関与するプロテインチロシンフォスファターゼ(PTP)の同定を行った。方法としてはPTP 発現系を用い、NGF刺激によるTrkAのリン酸化を免疫ブロットにより調べた。その結果、TrkAリン酸化の制御にプロテインホスファターゼPTP1Bが関与していることを初めて明らかにした。
