| Research Abstract |
木材中の正確な水分状態を測定する方法としては全乾法による破壊的方法があったが、操作が簡単な非破壊的方法が望まれていた。本研究では近年、コンピュータによる画像処理など性能向上が著しいデジタル軟X 線マイクロスコープを用いた水分分布の非破壊計測法の開発を試みた。水分状態を知りたい時点の木材に軟X 線を照射し透過したX 線量を画像の濃淡として捉え、さらに全乾状態時に得られる同画像の濃淡の差分値をパソコン上で求めて水分分布を知る方法を確立した。またこれを用いて乾燥中の水分分布、異なる環境状態に置かれる建築材料内部の水分状態の把握などを試み、材料内部の水分拡散の解析に応用した。
