| Research Abstract |
イネの吸水・蒸散に及ぼす根域温度の影響について調べ、それを合理的に説明するモデルを構築した。イネの通水機能と蒸散量は根域温度に依存して変化し、臨界温度(13.5~15℃)以下になると急激に低下する。これらのプロセスは、新たに構築した個体~群落レベルの吸水・蒸散モデルで定量的に再現することができる。根域温度の低下にともなった根の通水機能の変化には、アクアポリンによる細胞レベルでの水透過活性の変化が関与していることがわかった。
