Research Abstract |
極めて溶解性の低い膜タンパク質の化学合成に向けた化学的基盤として、自然界に見出されるタンパク質の自己編集システムであるインテインーエクステイン系に着目した。この系は、基本的に2つのペプチド結合の切断反応と3っのアシル基転移反応から成り立っている。このインテインーエクステイン系の模倣力杯溶性タンパク質合成に有用と考え、系に含まれる基本的反応の模倣を通じて、不溶性タンパク質合成に役立つ幾つかの反応システムを見出し、その応用展開について検討を加えた。
