Research Abstract

遺伝子発現のパターンが細胞や組織で異なっているのと同様に, 起源, 分化の状態に応じて糖鎖も様々に変化していることが予測され興味が持たれているが, 脳のように構造が複雑で, 領域特異的に役割分担が決定している組織の糖鎖を解析する手段はこれまでに存在しなかった. 本研究では, レーザーマイクロダイセクションで微小部位を切り取り糖鎖の分析をする方法を研究した. その結果, 脳組織切片から微小領域を回収後, 様々な種類の糖鎖構造を解析することが可能になった.
