Research Abstract

ヒト血清アルブミン(HSA)は、免疫原性や変異原性が少なく、長い血中滞留性を有するため、近年薬物のドラッグデリバリーシステム(DDS)の担体として期待されている。本研究により、HSAを用いた細胞保護・血管新生のシグナル分子である一酸化窒素(NO)の優れた生体内デリバリーに成功し、虚血再灌流障害での保護効果や抗癌効果も認められた。さらに、抗酸化タンパク質であるチオレドキシン(Trx)をHSAへ融合させ、高い血中滞留性と敗血症モデルマウスでの生存率改善を見出した。本知見は、担体としてのHSAの臨床応用を目指す上で重要な基礎資料になり得る。
