Research Abstract

単球・マクロファージ系列の細胞分化における大Maf群転写因子の機能解析を行った。その結果、大Maf群転写因子は単球/マクロファージ系列への分化方向の決定には影響を及ぼさないが、マクロファージの貪食機能に必要な分子の発現や、免疫制御に必要な分子の発現を制御していることが明らかとなった。また動脈硬化病巣の泡沫細胞の形成に必須の転写因子であることが解明された。
