Research Abstract

母体低栄養の胎児への影響は出生後も続き成人疾患の大きな要因になると考えられているが、胎児脳における影響に関しては詳しく調べられていなかった。本研究では、低蛋白食を与えた妊娠マウスの胎仔脳が膣炎などの母体感染を受けやすくなることを見出した。また、この原因が胎児脳の遺伝子調節(エピジエネティクス)の異常に関与すること、総合ビタミン剤の妊娠中の投与で改善する可能性があることを見出した。
