Research Abstract |
HMGB1蛋白の細胞の放出・分泌は「炎症の拡大・遷延化因子あるいは個体レベルでの疾患の予後増悪因子」として作用する。今回の研究において、我々は、新規機能性単糖1,5-D-アンヒドロフルクトース(1,5-AF)が、(1)炎症性転写因子NF-kBの制御と(2)HMGB1蛋白の機能制御、(3)細胞内糖代謝系の機能修飾などの3つの作用を介し、抗炎症作用を発揮するユニークな創薬シーズとなり得ることを証明した。
