| Research Abstract |
テトラスパニン・スーパーファミリーに属するCD82/KAI-1は癌の転移を抑制する。本因子を将来的に治療に応用するため本因子の転移抑制機構について解析が進められている。本研究ではCD82/KAI-1の癌細胞の細胞間接着における機能について検討したところ、癌細胞の原発巣からの離脱を阻害し、逆に血管内皮細胞への癌細胞接着を抑制することにより癌の転移を抑制することが明らかになった。
