Research Abstract |
Through the interviews with Muslim women in North-eastern area and Deaf women in rural and urban areas in Kenya, this study has revealed that those women who had been socially and economically marginalized have been empowered by education far more than anything before they are involved in any form of poverty reduction programs or vocational training.
