| Research Abstract |
日本語文を手話文字Sign Writingで書かれた手話文へ自動翻訳するシステムの実現を試みた。手話をテキスト形式で表す表記法を導入することで, システムを日本語テキストから手話テキストへの言語的な変換部と, 手話テキストからSignWritingへの表現上の変換部に分割実装した。手話ビデオ教材等から得た対訳例文をもとにシステムを実験的に構築し, 手話に特徴的な表現への翻訳, SignWriting表現の生成が可能であることを確認するとともに, 現状の問題点を明らかにした。
