| Research Abstract |
総腓骨神経の走行異常により先天的に腓骨筋が萎縮する変異マウスについて、連鎖解析を行い、その原因遺伝子がゲノム中約1.1Mbpの領域内に存在することを明らかにした。さらに、その範囲内に存在が予想される転写産物の総てのエクソン並びにエクソン/イントロンの境界部分について、変異マウスと野性型マウスの塩基配列の比較を行った。フレームシフトやナンセンス変異等は見られず、それ以外の遺伝子変異に起因する可能性が示唆された。
