Research Abstract

本研究において、神経細胞の成長円錐が自律的に右ねじ方向に回転運動することを見出し、この回転運動にクラスVミオシン分子が関与することを明らかにした。さらに、成長円錐が右ねじ回転運動することが原因となり、2次元平面基質上で神経突起が右方向に旋回する現象が引き起こされることを明らかにした。
