| Research Abstract |
網膜にはOFF経路とON経路とよばれる二つの並列な情報処理経路が存在する。本研究ではATPで活性化されるP2X2型プリン受容体が、コリン作動性アマクリン細胞のOFF型には多く存在するが、ON型にはほとんど存在しないことを明らかにすることができた。網膜神経節細胞の光応答もON経路とOFF経路でP2X型プリン受容体を介して経路特異的に調節を受けていることが明らかとなった。
