| Research Abstract |
眼窩壁骨折(吹抜け骨折)の重篤度に影響する因子としては、外力の強さ以外に(1) 外力の作用する方向(2) 打撃を受ける眼窩周辺の部位(3) 打撃を受ける顔面骨の形態的特徴といった要素が影響する。本実験においては、これらの因子と骨折の程度に関する相関につき有限要素シミュレーションを用いて定量的な解析を行った。この結果、(1) 俯角より外力が作用すると広い範囲に骨折が生じやすいこと(2) 外力の眼窩の内圧上昇を介した間接的作用と、眼窩壁を経由した直接的作用には相補性が存在すること(3) 上顎骨に欠損を有する場合、広範囲に骨折が生じやすいこと が解明された。これらの所見は吹抜け骨折の診断ならびに予防に有用である。
