Research Abstract

藍の色素であるインジゴは、藍植物に含まれているインジゴの前駆体であるインジカンから生じるが、その際、副生成物として、インジゴの異性体であるインジルビンという赤色色素が生成し、紫色に染色できることがある。藍植物から、インジルビンを多く生成させるための詳細を明らかにすることを目的とし、主にインドアイ乾燥葉によって検討したところ、絹や綿を紫色に染める条件を見いだすことができた。
