Research Abstract

褐藻類のヒジキとアカモクを同一海域の接近した地点で採集して、各種組織中に含まれるヒ素濃度の分布を測定し比較した。アカモクにはヒジキの2倍程度の高濃度にヒ素元素が含まれることは、これら海藻の特性であろうと推察された。また、ヒジキの生殖器官にはその他の器官よりも高濃度にヒ素の集積がみられた。これらの海藻を調理する過程でヒ素含有量が軽減される過程を、市販乾燥ヒジキの水戻し過程にて観察した。乾燥ヒジキを30~40℃で30分程水に浸漬すると、総ヒ素量の70%量のヒ素元素が溶出され、1回目の水戻し過程で、膨潤ヒジキに残存する無機体ヒ素は総ヒ素量の14パーセントにすぎなかった。
