| Research Abstract |
「ダンゴムシ-枯葉-微生物」の3者関係に着目し、ダンゴムシが陸上生態系の中で果たしている役割を中学生が十分理解・認識できる3種類の実験を開発した。すなわち、ダンゴムシは新しい枯葉より腐食のすすんだ枯葉を好むことを確かめる実験、ダンゴムシが枯葉を摂食することで微生物による枯葉の分解が促進されることを確かめる実験、またダンゴムシが枯葉を摂食した後に残る糞や食べ残しが植物生産に正に作用することを確かめる実験である。
