Research Abstract

本研究課題では、人工衛星による地球観測技術の有用性や仕組み等を理解し、地球環境問題に対応できる人材を育成することを目標としている。主に学校教育において地球観測技術を導入することを想定し「合成開口レーダによる高解像度地球観測画像を用いた科学技術教育プログラム」を開発した。このプログラムに従った授業内容例を示すとともに、地球観測衛星から送信されるレーダ波の反射実験と教育用ソフトウェア等の教材・教具を開発し、授業実践に基づく学習評価から本プログラムの有用性を示した。
