| Research Abstract |
初心者、あるいはパターン認識について学修した者が、文字認識について体験的に学習することのできるWEBページを作成した。これらのWEBページを実際に使用し、文字認識についての知識の獲得について、利用者のアンケートを通じて、高い割合で、文字認識について「理解できる」ことを確かめることができた。 三次元ポインティングデバイスを用い、文字認識システムを実現し、臨場感を備えた「感性通信」を可能とし、新しいヒューマンインタフェースを提案することができた。
