Research Abstract

酸化物やフェライトなどのナノメートルサイズの磁性体を生成し、それらの磁気的性質、熱物性、局所構造について解析した。ナノサイズになることや熱処理の効果により結晶構造が変化することや、結晶内のイオン分布が変わることなどが明らかになった。分子化学やバイオの分野との融合を図るため、磁気微粒子に官能基を修飾する方法を模索し確立した。本磁気ナノ微粒子が細胞内へ取り込まれること、外部磁場により生体内で局在化できることも確認できた。
