Research Abstract |
(1) The Development of Strain Measurement Method using the Piezo Cable The new strain measurement method was developed in this report. The method for developing in this study utilized the piezo cable as a strain gauge wire. (2) Axial Force Monitoring Method of the Hub Bolt for the Automobile Using the Piezo Cable. This study is the research which utilized the piezo cable for axial force detection of the hub bolt of the automobile. This study inserted the piezo cable in the hub bolt and it clarified that to detect the axial force of the hub bolt was possible experimentally. (3) The Research of Strain Monitoring Technique Using the Piezo Film to the Flange Joint for the Plant This study is applied research to flange coupling used in great numbers in chemical plant. This study is the development of the technology which monitors the reliability of strength of the joint using piezo film. The joint strength of the flange is detected from the piezoelectricity of piezo film. By utilizing piezo film from experimental result, it was proven to be possible, with respect to the joint strength of the flange. (4) Fastening Reliability Monitoring Method of the Bolted Joint Using the Piezo Cable. This study is the research which used the piezo cable for the monitoring of strength of bolted joints. In this study, two kinds of bolted joint were proven that it was possible to detect the joint strength. Two kinds of bolted joint are loaded shear force and tension force.
