Research Abstract

日本古代の神話・伝説と琉球の口承及び文献化された神話・伝説とを比較して研究することによって、日本古代の資料からはうかがい得ないような、地方の口承神話・伝説が資料化され、国家の地理書に汲み上げられてゆく過程を具体的に明らかにし、そこから日本古代の文献に記載された神話・伝説の位置を想定した。
