Research Abstract

近代初期英国における放浪文学と当時の英国都市・農村の変動および民衆の心性の変化との密接な関連性を、近代初期英国の放浪文学と浮浪者取締法や救貧法との連関、デラシネ的主体が当時の社会に与えた不安、エンクロージャーや農民暴動に代表される社会的変動、悪漢文学と放浪文学との関連性、国王の行幸、宮廷仮面劇そして宮廷祝祭のパジャントリーにおける境界侵犯的要素、近代初期英国における漂泊する女性像などに焦点を合わせて、解明した。
