Research Abstract

アイルランド語には、補文標識(COMP)が3種類存在する。また、移動が関与すれば、痕跡(trace)が残り、そうでなければ、残余代名詞(resumptive pronoun)が現れる。本調査では、COMPが3つある例文を検証し、どの組み合わせが可能であるか調査した。COMPが3種類あり、それが生じうる箇所が3箇所あり、また、チェインの最後尾が、traceかresumptive pronoun かの2種類あるので、論理的組み合わせは、54通りあるが、実際に可能であったのは、18通りだけで、これまでの主要な論文の主張と異なり、新たな発見となった。
