Research Abstract |
This grand-in-aid study focused on the media situation and media discourses in former Yugoslav countries, especially in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia. Special attention was paid to the interrelationship between collective indentity, verbal behaviour and media disourse. Extensive examination of particular words and their distribution in media texts, and semantic analysis using words association were proved to be effective in not only linguistic but also sociophycological researches.
