Research Abstract

本研究は次の2つからなる。(1) 日本人英語学習者は、英語的な無意味語(例 : tespez)を組み入れた文において、動詞より名詞として使われた方が最初の音節に強勢を置きやすいこと、また、弱音節に先行された語には強弱の強勢パターンをつける傾向がわずかながら有ることを示した。(2) 英語母語話者と日本人英語学習者が、2音節からなる英語風無意味語を生成・知覚する際のストレス位置の好みは、両言語話者とも、品詞、母音長、子音数の影響を受けるが、英語話者は知覚に際しては品詞の影響を受けず、また日本語話者は生成・知覚時ともに、音素配列制約の影響を受けないことが分かった。
