Research Abstract

日本人英語学習者(JLEs)の持つ文法知識について、主語と動詞の一致を示す形態素(即ち「3単現の-s」と規則動詞過去形の形態素「-ed」の使用に焦点をあてて調査した。JLEs の持つ文法システムは英語母語話者の持つ文法システムとは質的に異なることを示す実験データが得られた。
この結果は、第二言語においては特定の文法特性が習得困難であることを示唆する。
