Research Abstract

中国古代の即位儀礼の原型を定義すれば「嗣立成王の儀礼」と「即位宣醤・臣事の儀礼」との二つの儀礼の組合せから構成される。ただし、春秋から漢初の事例には両社の時間的分離が認められる。
禅譲儀礼も外辺部を構成する易姓の象徴化を別にすれば中核の通過儀礼としての即位式自体は同内容である。
王権継承の全体的象徴構造は天命の拠り所たる宗廟に保障されることをシンボライズし、「王朝国家」という存在を直接的に表徴する。
