Research Abstract

国際連盟は、社会・人道分野でも多くの任務を負っており、本研究で取り上げた婦女子売買禁止問題もそのひとつであった。本研究では、イギリス公文書館、英国図書館、ロンドン大学政治経済学院図書館などが所蔵する資料を利用して、イギリス及び国際連盟がこの問題にどのように取り組んだのかを調査した。「国際連盟の対中技術協力とイギリス 1928-1935年」、「帝国の興亡と人の移動--国際連盟が見た中国のロシア人女性難民」といった論文を執筆し、国際連盟が東アジアにも非常に関心を持っており、この地域への積極的な介入を試みていたということを明らかにした。
